I recenetly upgraded from 5.5 to 6 and here is the problem. All of my 5.5 files worked fine in this manor. When entering a slide an advanced action would run that would essentially check to see if an (var_enter) variable = 0 or 1. If it equalled 0 the playbar was turned off. The user would then click a magnifying glass which would blow up a diagram or essentailly it would take them to a slide at the end of the presentation that was only accessible by clicking the magnifying glass. That slide by default would have the playbar turned off and an X or close button in the corner of that slide would then assign the (var_enter) variable with 1 and return the user back to the slide (using jump to slide, not return to last vistied). The playbar would then be displayed. It is almost as if CP6 is not executing the enter advanced action when it returns to the slide as the playbar does not reappear. Even if I set the enter to simply cpCmndshowplaybar to 1 it's like because I turned it off in the slide it jumped too, captivate is not turning it back on again on the return. I have been testing everything using f12 rendering in a browser to eliminate the possibility of it being a problem of all slides not rendering and missing some advanced action along the way that might control this.
Did something change in the logic on how this executed? Worked perfectly as a CP 5.5 file, but now that I have reopened it and saved it as a CP6 file these interactions are all acting irratically.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated..
