How do I export a PPTX presentation with audio into captivate?

I attempted to export a PPTX presentation with audio (built in powerpoint) and the audio does not come over in the export. What is the process to make this work. I thought that captivate would automatically convert the audio. This is what I was told prior to purchasing the elearning suite. Can someone please reply with the process to make this work?
