Can Captivate track completions outside of an LMS?

We are using Captivate 6.  Exporting our Simulations in HTML5.

We have a situation in where we need to provide training modules to an audience that is outside of our LMS.  We would like to track completions of these modules.  Is there a method in Captivate, perhaps through some advanced action or Javascripting, in where we could have a user input their name or ID and have Captivate store that and report it back to an external database?
