Please tell me that HTML5 published Captivate 7 content can point to an MP4 on a remote server if you provide an absolute URL (and post Mavericks update patch). Can anyone test this? Because it sure isn't working for me.
Here's a sample of what I'm talking about. In the first four slides, I'm pointing to an MP4 that is on someone else's server. After trying to load for a while, and without any error messages, it simply doesn't display but moves the timeline forward. In all the other slides beneath that (with relative links), it does play as I'd expect.
The goal I'm trying to reach is that our video content is kept under my client's corporate control (on their servers), while the SCORM package is kept lightweight on their LMS. I've not done this with HTML5 content before, only SWF/FLV content. Am I missing something or is this broken? Thanks!
