Problem with animation when publishing to mp4.

I've created an animated video in Captivate 6.01 that previews fine, publishes to swf fine, but when I publish to mp4 (which is what I'd like to have it in) parts of the animations disappear - an object might move across the screen, or enter a slide, and halfway through it's path it flickers then disappears and reappears later in the slide. Everything else on the slide will be okay.

I'm wondering if this was because part of it was edited in Cp7? Although everything still previews with no problems and is okay in swf when imported back into 6.01.

I'd also noticed that some of the motion paths would move themselves on some slides, so could it be that the project file is corrupted?

And does anyone know of anything that would convert from a Captivate swf to any of the common video formats (avi, mpg, wmv etc) if I can't get Captivate to publish successfully to mp4?

Thanks for any suggestions you might have.
