Hi,
I am using Captivate 7 and have created and published some html5 courses that I would like to turn into apps. I have used the Adobe App Packager and PhoneGap Build, but when the resulting apps are run I get the following error message "Adobe Captivate. This browser does not support some of the content in the file you are trying to view. Use one of the following browsers...". If I then click "OK" the app works perfectly.
I searched on here and elsewhere for a way to get rid of this annoying message and saw the suggested solution from Adobe was to add the following line to the start of the adobecaptivate.ini file "SuppressIncompatibleBrowserMessage = 1"
I did that, rebooted my computer, deleted the previous HTML5 output, republished, re-packaged and sent to Phonegap Build again, but the error message is still there.
The solution does not work.
I note other people have reported that it doesn't work but nobody seems to be offering an alternative.
Captivate is an expensive product, and it's major selling point for me was the ability to make Apps, this is really disappointing.
Can anyone help?
Kindest regards
Mark
