I have been creating a Captivate 6 file by deleting unwanted resources in the library and then saving it as a new .cptx. This works well as I can select the resouces I want from the so called master .cptx and then select and delete unused items. I then save the new stripped down .cptx, publish it as an MP4 and all is great. My problem is that in every case the .cptx file saves as a 30 meg + file when it cannot be that big. Export it to an MP4 and it will be only 2 megs, save it as a .cptx and its 30 meg, yet in the library all the resources are deleted? Anyone have any idea why it is backing up what looks like the old deleted data and how to remove it? I have done more research on this and as far as I can see "growing cptx files" has been on the forum before and was indentified as a Captivate bug and design floor that was meant to be fixed with an update back in 2011. Is it the case that Adobe have not fixed the problem? - cannot find anywhere where it has been resolved.
