Question about creating your own custom mouse clicks

Greetings,

I'm curious if custom mouse clicks are restricted to a 50x50px stage?  I was going modify one of the existing mouse clicks up to say 80x80px, but figured someone else has probably played with this and might know off the top of their head whether this will work.  The existing mouse clicks are barely noticeable when working in a large format.
