Quiz properties not available (CP7)

When I create a quiz slide, the feedback boxes are not there, even though they exist on the master quiz slide. Resetting the master quiz slide does not work.

Also, the options for captions, time limit and others are greyed out on the Quiz Properties tab.

I tried creating a new quiz master slide and applying that, and the same thing occurs. The feedback boxes are there on the master slide, but not on the new timeline slide, and the options are greyed out on the Quiz Properties tab.
