I use a mac for my graphic design work, but need to create Captivate eLearning courses taking screenshots on a PC (windows explorer). The client does not want me to take screenshots using Safari or Firefox browsers.
My question is this: Has Captivate been tested (or is anyone successfully using) a PC version of Captivate 6 on their windows partition on a Mac? Running parallels or bootcamp?
My mac is a really powerful machine - MPB with 16 GBRam and 750 GB Hard Drive. Captivate mac version runs very well on the mac. I recall searching forums to see if Captivate (then, it was only a PC product) would run on a mac running Windows via Bootcamp/paralles, and was told it was not tested and had issues.
Anyone have any success or failures? Would love to hear your experience.
PS - I did attempt recording the IE interface using Remote Desktop, connecting remotely to a PC desktop. Captivate started taking screenshots, but couldnt find its way back to the mac. Even when I clicked Captivate in the dock to put the app in the forefront, it would not allow me to end recording and go back to the slide view.
